On most private PPO plans, yes. On marketplace plans it varies by carrier and year. We verify it for your specific plan before you enroll.
I'm a charter captain with seasonal income. Which plan fits?
Usually a private plan, because income does not change the premium and you avoid reconciling subsidies at tax time. We still quote the marketplace so you see both.
